Plotting a Quiet Tech Revolution: City A.M Feature

n2s are committed to driving the circular economy in tech, developing new sustainable solutions and reducing the environmental impact of technology.

We are leading the way with experts, including telecoms executives, chemists at Coventry University and our sister company Bioscope Technologies. Together, we have found new and mind-blowing ways to extract and reuse materials and precious metals in phones and laptops to data centre equipment, general technology systems and beyond.

Bioscope is focused on recovering valuable metals from tech devices with the help of a bacteria developed by chemists at Coventry University sponsored and employed by n2s and Bioscope. The bacteria can eat away at all the plastics in circuit boards, leaving metals to be recycled and repurposed.

City A.M. has featured us in this important conversation about the role of technology in creating a more sustainable future. Read more on “how a telecoms exec, a Rugby World Cup winner and a host of chemists are plotting a quiet tech revolution…”
