An IT equipment recovery programme is often undertaken within a customer’s "live" business environment. This requires the highest standards of professionalism to ensure that the recovery is a complete success and does not impact on existing customer services, Health and Safety, building facilities operations and the day to day running of the customers business.

N2S has a vast experience in managing the complete decommissioning and recovery of large IT equipment projects both in the UK and Europe. This complex task is managed in house utilising the N2S engineering team that specialise in this area. We ensure that this process is completely visible to the customer and complies with the WEEE regulations by providing a complete audit trail of all recovered equipment.

At N2S all IT recovery projects will have an assigned N2S Project Manager to take total ownership of the recovery. The PM will report directly to the client and will be responsible for the planning, management and execution of all elements of the project.

Before a recovery programme commences, N2S complete a site audit to confirm the most appropriate recovery solution, identify potential risks & hazards and document an effective recovery plan. The audit also provides an opportunity to confirm the possible reuse of equipment and an accurate assessment of any potential resale value.

Once the equipment has been decommissioned its then transported to our facilities using our own fleet of vehicles rather than third party companies where problems may occur.
